Is traveling a priority in your life?
🌀When I say priority, I mean that you see travel as an investment. You want to ensure there is enough time in your life to take time away from your home in order to spend time elsewhere. You save money by not only creating a “vacation fund” but ensuring you aren’t overspending on accommodations, transportation, activities, food and other purchases. Most importantly, when you are traveling, you are truly in “vacation-mode.” You are unplugged from your work and other commitments.
🌀Traveling isn’t for everyone- it’s not everyone’s cup of tea! But oftentimes, travel just isn’t a priority. We take for granted that we will eventually “have the time” but the time comes and goes. Money is spent on other things. You can’t be remote in case you need to login to work. You can’t leave town for too long.
🌀With that said, travel is luxury. It’s more important to ensure you have food on the table than taking a trip. However, assuming you have your necessities in order, travel can be incorporated into your life, if you want it to be that is.
